What the site is for
The site offers free calculators and guides on Canadian federal and provincial benefits and public pensions, built from the amounts published by the Government of Canada, the provinces and Retraite Québec. Results are estimates computed from what you enter. They are not a decision, financial or legal advice, or a promise of payment. Only the CRA, Service Canada, Retraite Québec or the province concerned decides an entitlement. The site is independent, is not affiliated with any government, and uses no government logo or visual identity. Method and limits: calculation method.
Limits of liability
Parameters are re-read against their sources at each benefit-year and quarterly change and the engine is checked by automated tests, but no error-free result is guaranteed. The publisher is not liable for a decision taken on the strength of an estimate alone. Report an error through the contact page.
Intellectual property
Text, design and code belong to the publisher; short quotations are welcome with a link to the page. Government of Canada information is reproduced in line with the federal non-commercial reproduction terms, and official documents are linked rather than copied.
Embedding
The household benefits calculator may be embedded free of charge in an iframe, with its credit link kept visible: see the embed page.
